Solutions

  • Demo time restriction is now properly removed upon full version installation.
  • M-Site no longer produces an ODBC error upon installation.
  • PM work orders that are scheduled to be active on a non-working day now properly reschedule to the next available working day without error.
  • Attempting to enter information in the State field in the Company Address option in Expert installations no longer produces an error.
  • Attempting to create a requisition in the Reorder List no longer produces a VENDORID error.
  • Setting the Drive for Attachments to C from a drive other than C now executes properly.
  • Installation for all versions of FTMaintenance no longer requires a reboot.
  • When adding an attachment, the File Open dialog now defaults to the proper drive.
  • Servers that may be missing certain shared components in the .NET assembly may now install ProLink III without error.
  • ProLink III error messages now contain the proper text.
  • Attempting to delete a pulled part from a work order or delete a work order that contains a pulled part now requires the user to restock the part before allowing the record to be deleted.

Features in FTMaintenance

  • Russian language is now supported.
  • Arabic language is now supported.
  • Database has been updated to DB06.
  • A new Receiving List Barcode report, RecvListBC.rpt, has been added.
  • The Barcode report BIN5262BC.rpt has been updated to improve formatting.

Features in ProLink

  • ProLink III requires database version DB05 or higher.
  • Drop downs were added so that you can select Equipment and the Requester from a drop down list.

Features

  • A progress bar has been added to the PM Active and DM Active Quick and Regular Close.
  • Windows Vista (Business or Enterprise) is now supported.
  • BDE is no longer required to run the Import Utility.

  • FTMaintenance will no longer automatically uppercase usernames and passwords in the login dialogs.
  • The passwords and logins can no longer be identical to one another in Expert and Professional installations.
  • For Expert and Professional Installations, all passwords are now case-sensitive; the FTMaintenance Group Rights Program will automatically uppercase all passwords when a login is created or a password is changed.

Solutions in Scheduler

  • A color-coded key has been added to the ‘Yearly’ view to assist users in determining what type of work order is being displayed in the grid.
  • The Cycle Type designation from the Resource Assignment has been removed.

  • The “Assign to” function in PM Active and DM Active has been improved.

Solutions in Equipment

  • The Model Number field length has been increased to 32 characters to allow for longer model numbers.

  • Right clicking and multiple printing functions now work properly in quick lists.

Solutions in ProLink II

  • Administrators can now disable attachments in mail sent from ProLink.
  • The Customer / Equipment dialogs now have search functionality.
  • Improvements have been made to the E-Mail Settings user interface.
  • When Field Name changes are made in ProLink, they will now be shown in the reports sent via e-mail to requesters and through E-Link.
  • The Status Field now displays in the Search Request and Search WO functions.
  • Quotation marks used within the Equipment Number field are now compatible in ProLink II.

Solutions in Purchasing

  • Performance improvements have been made in the Purchasing Master File.
  • The field ‘Amendment No.’ was removed from the Quick List, Quick Screen, and Purchasing tab. Amendments are still tracked in the PO Amendments tab.

Solutions in Field Name Change Utility

  • The field name Account/GL in Purchasing can now be changed from within the Purchasing section.

 

FTMaintenance v9.6.3 Release Notes

Features

  • ProLink II allows users to submit Service Requests via a web browser.
  • An Export PO option was added to the context menu in Purchasing for ERP integration.
  • Portuguese translation was updated.

Solutions in DM Active

  • Fixed problem with send e-mail function after selecting a record queued for delivery to Mobile.
  • Fixed problem that occurred when batch closing multiple work orders that caused the email confirmation to the requestor to apply to the same work order instead of each individual closed work order.
  • Removed errors that occurred when tabbing or clicking through the Quick Screen fields.
  • Record focus in the Quick List will now automatically clear all but the current record when the applicable work order is closed.
  • Fixed problem with closing or quick closing from the DM Active tab or other tabs.

  • Work orders activate correctly from Quick Screen and tabs regardless of user rights.

  • Fixed problem of multiple DMs activating even though they were not selected while using arrow buttons to navigate between DM Template work orders.

Solution in Drawing Files

  • When using Windows XP with non-classic interface, the attachment drive can now be set.

Solutions in PM Active

  • Selection of other work orders in the Quick List is now cleared when printing from other tabs.
  • When a query is loaded, the Quick Screen will display the associated equipment.

Solution in Scheduler

  • Labels were changed in the Week view for a particular employee, as well as in the Day view for a particular employee. The labels were changed from Hours at Rate 1 to Actual Hours. The value displayed is the total of all hours for the employee.
