Features

  • The .FMD file format is changed in this release.
    Files saved by this version of WorkShop cannot be opened by earlier versions of WorkShop.

Solutions

  • When searching for text in the Documentation Window, the Match Case option is now available.
  • The BIN/BCD toggle push button on the I/O Drop Editor for remote I/O modules under Quantum is now enabled.
  • Added an option to correct a rare condition where networks are incorrectly reported as skipped in the ladder display.
  • If the condition occurs, set the powerflow update delay with controls in the Online Logic Powerflow Update group box in the Update Times tabbed dialog of the Program Setup dialog.
  • The default setting, zero milliseconds, is appropriate for almost all PLCs.

Solutions

  • When Windows 2000 Hot Fix KB824141 was installed, the first key entered in a field in a ladder logic component would be repeated. This has been corrected.
  • The F2 key once again opens the ladder cursor for editing. Use Shift-F2 when editing SF to toggle between enabled and disabled.
  • The Unique Address feature now works on instructions with special addresses, such as timers and counters.
  • Several conditions that could cause application errors have been corrected.
  • The Logic Store Record Not Found condition in Change PLC Type has been corrected.
  • A condition in which downloading to certain older PLCs failed has been corrected.
  • A condition in which an “Unknown communication error” could be generated while downloading WX data has been corrected.
  • A condition where a progress meter window might not close has been corrected.
  • When searching for text in the Documentation Window, the Match Case option is now available.
  • Corrected a condition where entering a PACK instruction with an indirect address caused an SF error.
