Can you force a Bit of Word in PLC WorkShop for Siemens 505?

NO. X, Y, and C, which are discrete types, can be forced. WX and WY, which are Word types, can also be forced, but the individual bits cannot be forced separately. The 505 PLCs do not support this operation. Viewing the status of a WX or WY bit of word address in the Data Window or ladder may show the bit forced, but actual forcing can only happen if the complete word is forced.
