Both products offer several enhancements and optimizations including support for the new CTI 2500 Series processors by Control Technology, Inc. PLC WorkShop for Siemens 505 v4.11-the only software on the market to support the full functionality of the 2500 Series PLC System-now also offers integrated file change management and version control capabilities to protect your PLC programs.
505 Simulator v2.01 is the only software of its kind for Simatic® 505 and CTI 2500 PLCs. Use the simulator to program, run, and test ladder logic, Special Function programs and subroutines, PID loops, Analog alarms, and simulated I/O in a fraction of the time it would take using traditional methods, and without requiring expensive hardware.
